Having a positive self image and high self esteem is crucial in living a full and free life. If you are feeling low and unhappy about yourself then you need to act to improve how you feel. Not taking action could lead to a very sad life of not doing what you always wanted to do and the only thing keeping you down is yourself. You need to be more positive about you or you could end up being depressed which is definately not a good situation to be in. There are some different factors that make up your self image and self esteem some are:-

These are only a few reasons that I know of personally that alter your self image and self esteem. Having personally suffered from low self image I feel strongly about getting people to feel better about themselves. I am not a doctor and dealt with my problem with no help. The way I done this was mainly by exercising. I started exercising at home as I felt intimidated by going to a gym. Through the exercisisng I improved fitness and strength which in turn made me feel good about myself as a person. I used care about what other people thought of me but because I felt fit and strong I didn’t worry about what other people thought. Exercising aided me but it won’t work for everyone, there are many different ways to sort out these problems and you might want some assistance. If you feel you want someone to help you then get it there is no harm in getting help it could be exactly what you need to get your life back on track. So don’t wait for something to get done get up and do something about it and enjoy your life, you only have one.
