How To Put A Stop To Excessive Sweating

Do you suffer from sweating? If you do then you have my personal sympathies. Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis as it is scientifically recognized is not considered a serious medical problem. If however you put up with it I’m certain you know how traumatic and awkward it can be. Take my advice and do something about it before it wears away at your self-esteem and self-confidence.

For individuals that suffer from excessive perspiration, the actual unpleasantness and stress brought on can be excruciating. This is like a vicious circle because as soon as you are aware that other folks have noticed your sweating you tend to become anxious and then you sweat a lot more.

Sweat underneath the armpits quickly leaves a recognizable damp patch which often can begin to reek quite quickly. Changing your clothes many times each day could be the only alternative. Should you have sweaty palms you probably possess one of those cold sweaty handshakes. You might find that sweat drips onto your work files as well as keyboard also while you’re at work.

Both of these symptoms can be extremely extremely troubling and will cause the sufferer to avoid social contact as well as steer clear of performing sports on account of their awkward condition.

There are a few things you can try that may help to reduce the symptoms of excessive sweating without having to resort to distressing surgery that is the only real solution for some people.

First of all try and stick to these basic tips.

Detergent is often an irritant. Try changing the kind of soap which you use or possibly even stop using soap altogether and try and find a mild soap substitute such as a hand wash.

Attempt to stay away from hot food. Spicy meals raises your body temperature and if you’re at risk from sweating can easily merely make it a whole lot worse.

Try different kinds of antiperspirants. Ensure you are not using deodorant, they are different from antiperspirants because they merely mask the smell where as antiperspirants actually stop you sweating. It’s worth trying some different brands because some are better than others.

Choose your clothing smartly. Avoid black or white outfits as they leave noticeable sweat marks. Ensure your clothing is actually loosefitting, especially round the armpits.

Try to stay away from man-made fibres such as nylon and Lycra as they tend to increase sweating. Cotton is the best material you can use because it lets the skin breathe.

You can try wearing a vest or undershirt made from cotton. This will still let the skin breathe and can help absorb sweat so that it doesn’t become visible on your outer clothing.

There are several medical treatments that you could undertake to cure excessive sweating. Iontophoresis is a treatment method that employs electric stimulation which is mainly used in the treatment of sweating palms or soles of the feet.

Botox injections can also work as a temporary solution to the areas of your body which a sweating profusely. The downside is it is only a temporary option and effects wear off after a few months.

There are other medical operations accessible where the sweat glands are actually cut away.

All of these Treatments are quite extreme and it’s well worth trying to find find a natural cure for excessive sweating before resorting to something so severe.

Pros: Versatile, Good Value, Durable, Functional

I read all these reviews before getting the bedfan and I was concerned about the Flimsy part of the reviews… So when it got here I was not surprised to see it was a little flimsy on the top… Yet I set it up and gave it a try. I have not slept that well in years. I got up that next morning and reluctantly got out of bed. Started getting dressed and went to put on my shoes. I sat on my bed… oh no.. I sat on the fan…

Thank you for making it Flimsy, I would say if it were rigid like we all think it should be, it would have been in bad shape about now. But you know sometimes we don’t realize why something is the way it is until we find out for ourselves.

Awesome product, will buy more, thanks for thinking ahead and making that part flexible.

This is the flimsy part.. Thank Goodness, It bends

Weight Loss Strategies That Work

I had major weight problems when I was growing up, I liked all of the wrong types of food and drinks.

I also had other things in my life, which were a concern for me, I suffered with a stuttering speech impediment from the age of four, I had a bald patch on my head from birth and I was also quite short for a male at only five foot four. All of these had a massive negative affect on my overall self-esteem. To make myself happy, I would binge and comfort eat, which would only add to the problem. I would feel guilty for hours, after eating for only twenty minutes.

Aged 21; I decided to fight back – I needed to become much fitter, healthier and thinner. I was now working for a front doors company and also part time for a firm which offered cheap calls, it was now time to attempt to lose some weight. I then went about formulating my own form of diet. I realised I had to cut out these wrong type of foods I was eating and to also drink far less alcohol. To say this was difficult was an understatement, however I knew that I had to be strong and to fight off my urges and cravings.

OK so the majority of weight loss experts would advise me to stop eating such fatty and foods and to cut down on my alcohol intake – this was not something that I was particularly interested in doing and so I formulated the following plan:

Breakfast

For breakfast I would eat properly for example, a bowl of cereal or a couple of slices of toast.

Lunch

At around one o’clock I would eat my lunch which would consist of something light such as a salad or a plain jacket potato.

In between meal snacks

It was quite simple; the snacks had to stop; I needed to stay disciplined to not eat between each meal.

Evening meal

Lets have some fun, this was the meal where I allowed myself some pleasure as I decided that I could basically eat what I wanted to, including pizza, my favourite.

For exercise I decided to ditch the car, wherever possible, and walk to more places. Something else that I started to do, and have continued to do, was to take my kids to the local playing fields on a much more regular basis. At the park we would play games such as football, cricket and baseball. It is amazing how much weight you can lose by having fun.

The Challenges In Children with Diabetes

It is a fact that having a child suffering from diabetes can pose new challenges and worries. It can be very stressful for parents and the child, and that it will seem that this is a death sentence to your child. However, children with diabetes can still live a full and normal life. With proper management, living with diabetes can be easy and normal.

Having an infant or toddler diagnosed with diabetes can be very frightening. They don’t know anything about the disease and it can really be challenging for parents to manage and treat the disease as the child have no way of communicating what they are feeling.

The same situation goes for preschoolers with diabetes. They in fact haven’t learned to recognize the symptoms of having low blood glucose level and it is not possible for them to tell others when they are feeling low. This is why it is very important to constantly check the blood glucose level of your child as often as possible.

However, you need to understand that the child may be frightened by lancets poking their fingers and regular insulin shots. You should expect that they will try anything in order to avoid it or at least try to delay it from getting them. It will help if the parents talk to the child and tell them that they know it hurts and also tell the children that they are being very brave. To encourage the child to get the insulin shot or get pricked by the lancets for drawing blood for sample, stickers and rewards will prove to be helpful. Instead of scolding or threatening them with punishment, always use positive reinforcements.

However, always remember to avoid using food as rewards as this may be a road to an unhealthy relationship with food.

You also need to keep in mind that children with diabetes can have the same fussy eating habits as other children who are not suffering from the disease. It is best not to force the child to eat the certain food you are offering them. Instead, try offering them a different kind of food, which is also good for their diabetic diet. You can also offer them juice or milk instead if they really don’t want to eat.

During school age, your children will start wanting to be like their peers. Most of the time it wil be difficult for them to understand why they are different from other children as there is a need for them to take insulin and have to follow a certain meal plan. Usually, the best way to handle this kind of situation depends entirely on the personality of your child.

Some children wants to show off to their classmates about their condition, such as they try to check their blood glucose level themselves and even try giving themselves an insulin injection for show and tell. Some older children with diabetes even presented the disease as science projects. However, you need to keep in mind that there are children that will not want to bring the disease they are suffering from on center stage.

They prefer to keep quiet about it and it is important for you to let your children decide who to tell about their disease and how much to tell. However, it is important to tell teachers, coaches, family, and close friends about it in order for them to understand what your child is going through.

These are the challenges that you should expect when living with children with diabetes. It can be very challenging and depressing at first but after a while, you will see that you and your child will be able to adjust and live a normal and full life.

Exercise to have Greater Comfort During Your Menopause Experience

signs of menopause

Many females have the tendency to slow down at the time of their menopausal years and merely depend on menopause remedies like natural progesterone, however it is significantly important to be fit and active as much as possible. There are numerous arguments why regular exercise is especially important during a woman’s menopause and below are some of the top reasons:

Heart disease. Menopause has been reported to exacerbate the probability of being afflicted with coronary heart disease; however if the cardiovascular system is strengthened with regular physical activity, then the risk is significantly decreased. Physical training also promotes the health of our blood vessels so that good circulation is sustained and symptoms during menopause, such as chronic exhaustion and enervation will cease.

Porous Bones or Osteoporosis.  Even though working out cannot fully block the advent of osteoporosis, it can diminish the rate in which bone density is lost, hence the condition advances at a much slower rate. It can also produce more hardy and tough ligaments, bones and tendons so that strains and breakages do not ensue quite so often. Natural hormone replacement therapy is also believed to protect against osteoporosis and is worthy of hashing out with your physician.

Depressive Disorder. This is a common sign of the onset of menopause. And exercise has been proven to clear depression in many women. This is because exercise galvanizes the brain to release endorphins, which are referred to as the ‘natural high’ producing hormones for they produce a feeling of liveliness. Minor depressive disorders generated by the uncertainties of this natural condition can often be assuaged by performing some kind of exercise.

Overall Feeling of Satisfaction.  Working out is great for making you feel fitter and healthier, even if you only exercise a few times each week. Plus if you are feeling more contented about yourself, then you will not be so caught up with symptoms of perimenopause.

What type of exercise regimen you should do is a personal choice. However, you should aim to include a variety of aerobic routines and muscle building workouts.

Cardio Training Program.
This category includes any form of physical exercise that makes the speed of your heartbeat and your breathing rate to rise. Some examples of these exercises are brisk walking or aero-walking, jogging, running, swimming, biking or vigorous dancing. It also includes activities such as doing chores in the house, gardening activities, chasing after your puppy or the children and even vigorous lovemaking. In fact, whatever activity you do which causes your heart to pump faster can be described as an aerobic activity and thus it is beneficial for you.

It is essential not to over-exercise however, because the potential benefits of exercise can be negated by overexertion and this will get you feeling weak and tired when you should be bright and feeling good.

Muscle building Exercises
This includes anything that makes your muscles work. These can be, climbing the stairs, lifting objects, stretching and muscle toning exercises and even carrying bags or heavy objects can be classified as body building even if these activities don’t technically cause your muscles to grow. Weight_lifting workouts are vital for keeping the tendons, bones, connective tissues and muscles stronger, and this in turn lessens the chance of getting bone fractures and sprains.

Based on this health arguments you can see that any workout exercise undertaken during the menopause years is more desirable than not having a fitness plan. You should try to find a few fitness activities you like and alternate between these physical activities so that there is minimal chance of you getting disinterested to performing them regulary. Lastly, a moderate amount of fitness routine during the pre-menopause years can make life a lot more comfortable menopause and ‘post-menopause’; and ultimately, is it not what we ladies want?

Don’t Miss This breakthrough! Get Rid Of Your Menopause Discomfort!

The viewpoint that the explanation for all the menopause symptoms is due to an instability of hormones is a superficial understanding and requires a deeper insight.

Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective: Menopause is determined a deficient characteristic of the liver and qi (life force). When the energy and blood quality is deficient and obstructed then all body organs that depend on that blood are not able to function at their best. This condition causes the liver to overheat which rises through the body, wreaking havoc in its path. The heart, lungs, digestion, glands, throat, mouth & teeth, nose, eyes, ears, brain, skin and hair become heated and dried resulting in the body heat ailments. Additionally, When the liver isn’t filtering the blood then it progresses into a clotted and sluggish.

Because the body is deficient of life-giving body energy, quality filtered blood and diet, therefore the glands do not perform normally. Their glandular secretions can develop irregularly or immobilized altogether. Whereas the blood is filtered and nourished then the body’s organs thrive. Progressively, the energy comes back and they are able to function normally. The hormonal functions, secrete normally, transforming the body towards wellness.

The physical body isn’t missing chemical hormones. The blood is clogged like sludge. Glands are not receiving/transmitting life-giving messages, timely and/or minimally!

So therefore why do we add or provide more hormones. Doesn’t that risk an overload of hormones? Remember when you were a teen and your hormones were super revved. You won’t want to chance of experiencing that again. You have enough hormones. If you nourish your blood, keep fit, sleep, deal with stress, etc. Our hormones revive back and reenforces increased balance.

So if Chinese medicine knows the problem, then what is their solution to this weakened conditioneath

Dealing With Hot Flashes from Menopause

image Those of you who have had to deal with menopause  or peri-menopause probably have had the experience known as hot flashes , or "your own personal sauna" as some women refer to it. What can you do about hot flashes other than suffer through them?

First, let’s talk about what causes hot flashes. We actually don’t know what causes them for sure, some people feel that it is due to low levels of estrogen. But since they tend to happen more during peri-menopause which is a time of extreme hormonal fluctuation, we could also assume that they are somehow caused by the hormonal ups and downs, specifically estrogen.

So one of the first choices for treating hot flashes are just some simple lifestyle changes you can adapt to help you get through the period of symptoms. Try to identify your triggers that may be connected to your hot flashes, like drinking a hot beverage or being in situations that stress you out. Perimenopause Symptoms – Natural Remedies For Hot Flashes

image A staggering 88% of American women suffering from perimenopause symptoms are more or less tormented by hot flashes . Hot flashes are not life threatening. They just make your life miserable. Suddenly, you’re hot and uncomfortable. You can have a soaker or merely a moist upper lip. Night sweats  disrupt your sleep which can cause poor concentration, memory problems, irritability and exhaustion during the day. The frequency, duration, and intensity vary widely from woman to woman and also for individual women during the various stages of menopause.

A hot flash is a sudden, intense version of what the body normally does to cool down when it is overheated: Blood vessels near the skin dilate and you break into a sweat. But why, when a woman is sitting at her desk or driving down Main Street, does her body suddenly think it is overheated? The causes of such thermal chaos are only partly understood. Hot flashes are linked to the fluctuating hormones that cause so many perimenopause symptoms, but other factors can cause your temperature control to go out of whack.

Instead of hormone replacement therapy, look at safer, less drastic measures first because you should always begin with the least aggressive approach to treating your menopausal symptoms, and because living a healthy lifestyle makes sense regardless of what else you do.

Here are some ideas that have helped many women find relief:
